I am glad to announce that I recently became a Member of the National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT).
NAJIT was founded in 1978 as a non-profit professional association dedicated to the mission of promoting quality services in the fields of interpreting and translation, particularly in courts. Many persons who come before the courts are non- or limited-English speakers. The function of court interpreters and translators is to remove the language barrier, so that such person’s access to justice is the same as that of similarly-situated English speakers for whom no such barrier exist.
I would like to thank all my clients for their support. We have worked with passion and we are continually investing in Continuing Professional Development (CPD), ensuring that both academic and practical qualifications do not become out-dated or obsolete.
