Freelance Translators – Why work for Baraka Translations?

We treat our translators with respect, we don’t dictate rates and we pay on time.

We usually ask translators to have a minimum of 3 years of experience, a university degree in any subject and if the degree is not in translation, we would require some kind of accreditation in their country of residence, such as the Institute of Translation and Interpreting in the UK, or the American Translators Association in the US.

We do not ask translators to do a free translation test, but we do start with small projects and monitor the quality of their work, attitude and other important qualities, before we move on to larger jobs.

We also require the applicants to provide details of two professional recommendations.
